Hey y’all! Let me introduce myself. My name is Ashley, and I have been in the beauty industry for 8 years. For 6 of those years, I have been strictly focused on perfecting my body waxing skills. I am absolutely obsessed with giving people the smooth skin they love!

I HAVE 2 CATS AND A DOG, ALONG WITH THREE 2-LEGGED CHILDREN AS WELL. I LOVE TO TRAVEL AND SEE WHAT THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER. Some OF My FAVORITE THINGS TO DO INCLUDE HIKING DIFFERENT STATE PARKS AROUND Minnesota, RIDING THE HARLEY IN THE SUMMER, AND SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

FAQs

  • Everyone’s hair growth and waxing schedule differs. Most people need to wax every 4-6 weeks. Some like to come in sooner, some a little later.

  • You just invested in a wax for smooth skin. Why not protect that investment?

-Exfoliate with a dry brush or sugar scrub 48 hours after your wax.
You can exfoliate a few times a week to daily, depending on your skins needs.

-Use a post wax product to help prevent bumps, minimize irritation, and to help avoid ingrown hairs. Both products that I offer are non-comedogenic, moisturizing, and can be used daily.

-Wear loose fitting clothes for the first day to avoid unnecessary irritation.

  • To prepare for your first wax, you want to make sure your hair is long enough for the wax to grab. I always recommend hair to be at least 1/4” long in order to get the best results.

Exfoliating the night before your wax can help get a smoother wax as well as ease discomfort.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol prior to your wax as this can increase pain and sensitivity.

If desired, you can take a Tylenol 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment.

  • Yes! there are a few things to avoid after a fresh wax.

-Avoid tanning beds for 48 hours. You don’t want to burn your freshly waxed skin!

-Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and baths for 48 hours. Standing water can harbor bacteria, and we don’t want bacteria to get in your open pores.

-Avoid exfoliating for 48 hours. We just wax, which is a form of exfoliation itself, so we don’t want to irritate the area further.

-Avoid sexual activity for at least 24 (recommended 48) hours. Bacteria and friction on a fresh wax? That’s not good!

-Avoid excess sweating for 48 hours, as sweat can get trapped on open pores and cause further irritation.
